Happy New Month AML people. (Laughs) Should I just say “AML Nation?” (Laughs again). It feels like a Friday, even though it is not so I will let my hair down with the picture in this post.
Phew! Finally in the clear. Had work up to “hia” (deeply immersed in law work), now up for some slight air and it feels good before I have to dive back in again!
Happy New Month. I wish for you all, the great things you wish for yourselves this August. Think smart, align yourselves with like minded people, have a positive disposition, be about your business and of course don’t forget the God factor to hook you up.
This month and specifically on August 23rd, 2012, AML turns 1!
Truthfully, I wanted AML to take up very very very very limited time. But, wow! Nevertheless, I do not complain. I have a vision and until it is materialized, I’ll keep going.
I’d like to hear how AML has been helpful to you all. The intention is to publish your comments on August 23rd, 2012. I will also reach in my archives of comments via email, twitter and facebook to share what industry and non-industry people have had to say about AML.
AML takes time to translate tough legal concepts into everyday language so you all get it. Also, it takes time to read through Nigeria’s laws and statutes, compare it to my practical experience here in U.S courtrooms as a practicing attorney and my legal knowledge and then share my commentary with you all.
It is time away from family, friends and other more enjoyable things I’d like to do. But, again, I am compelled to do this and see the bigger picture. So, it’d be helpful for those who have benefited from me sharing my experiences to hit me up, that includes all those lawyer colleagues that hit me up about entertainment law in Nigeria, and let me know exactly how AML has been beneficial to you. It also allows me streamline some of my discussions here to directly speak to the areas that have benefited you all the most.
Send an email to ([email protected]).
I look forward to reading and sharing on 8/23/2012.
Have a healthy and productive day.
Cheers,
Uduak
