Chioma Ude, founder of the African Film Festival (AFRIFF), made a recent appearance on Accelerate TV’s ‘The Maverick’ show and while on the show revealed that she would be quitting production of the AFRIFF festival next year.
Ude says she is “losing grip of the festival,” she has “very little say” and explains the event is “bigger than” her. She also discussed other challenges in producing the event.
