“Na who be d girl?” That’s all I’m tryna know. The information provided about her is not quite enough. She’s got such confidence. Usually when femcees get in the rap game, they set about marking their territory and turf by turning into a guy by force by force. I understand how tough the business can be, especially for women. But, there is something to be said for being authentically woman as much as you are a man. This lady comes into the rap game “owning” her own music voice that says “I know my identity.” Totally feeling her. If I was a rapper I would probably make my entrance this way. Can we say “owa talented owa gifted?” Impressed. Meet Splash.
“Flow so bad, I need redemption/I am so attractive no magnet/I bring action drama, MNET/. . . I mess with your hair like a dandruff. . .” – Splash ‘Bruce Leeee ft. Tycoon’
“Splash is a fast rising Femcee from the Southeast, also a model, her first single was in Ibo, titled ‘Ogini (what is it?),’ she is out with her new single titled ‘Bruce Lee featuring Tycoon.”
PR TIP: Splash’s publicist/Splash, when you are first introducing your artist to the public through the media, please provide a lot more than the above. See my article here on how to do this. Lucky for you, the girl is talented. Otherwise, this kind of information gets a delete from me. I should not have to do your work for you. Make my life easy. Thank you.
I am using You Tube’s rating language for the one expletive used in the song.
“L: Strong language Content rated L may contain some expletives and profanity; however such words should be infrequent and not used in a sexual context. . .”
